We are going for one day of bouldering at Kjugekull in Sweden. For this you only need a pair of climbing shoes and possibly a chalk bag. The club has plenty of crash pads that can be brought. It is not possible to bring the beginner climbing shoes from the gym as they are only made for indoor climbing.
All members of the club can join in!
We will leave from DTU at 07.00, so meeting time is at 06.45, and we will be back in the evening (it takes 2-2,5 hours to drive each way). We will meet in the parking lot outside entrance F of B. 101. (The one closest to the gym). Here we will pack as many crashpads as we can and make sure everyone is there before we leave. Before climbing, we will all meet up again at the Kjugekull parking lot where the day can be planned and groups formed. Parking lot is found here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/m9iX3DazsV9RvYSF6.
This event page is for planning and coordinating the trip. You have to arrange your own seat in a car. Either in a private one or you can get together and rent one. To coordinate the seats, put the information in the following spreadsheet: Car pooling
As of 2024, the club will provide tickets to cross the Øresund bridge, meaning payment by the driver will not be necessary anymore, but it is important to supply a contact email in the above mentioned carpooling sheet in order to receive the tickets for the bridge. The club will not reimburse the bridge fare unless the supplied iTicket is used!
Using the iTicket:
- Drive in the blue lanes (cash or card)
- Stop before the barrier (even if it opens automatically)
- Use the touchscreen to other means of payment and scan iTicket (or type in ticket number).
The club reimburses the costs for petrol and car rental with up to 250 DKK per member per car. More information about climbing trips can be found on our website: https://dtuclimbing.dk/climbing-trips
Hope to see a lot of you!
Ps. We will check the weather in the days before the trip. In case of bad weather, the event will be canceled (Text message and email will be sent out latest 48h before departure in case of cancellation.)
